Guidelines for Manuscript Submissions and Freelance Inquiries


 

HOW TO QUERY:

Jonathan David requests that authors first submit a query letter, along with a brief synopsis of the manuscript, table of contents, sample chapter, and résumé. Please enclose a stamped self-addressed return envelope. Submissions should be made via snail mail only. Multiple submissions are not accepted.

Query letters are responded to within six weeks of receipt.

 


 

HOW TO SUBMIT A MANUSCRIPT:

Authors who are invited to submit a full manuscript for publication consideration should enclose return postage in the event that the manuscript is not accepted.

Manuscripts should be submitted on 8˝ x 11 white paper with margins of approximately one inch on all sides. A computer disk should accompany the printout.

 

CONTRACTS, ROYALTIES:

Jonathan David Publishers offers authors a standard book publishing contract with standard royalties.

 


 

FREELANCE INQUIRIES:

Experienced professional freelancers may apply for assignments by submitting a cover letter and résumé along with a statement of their areas of expertise.
